It was kind of overwhelming reading all of the new
characters and all of the new names. I think that is probably the hardest part
of the readings whenever new names are mentioned because you have to keep track
of old ones but new ones are also mentioned. I think it also makes it difficult
because the names are so unique as well.
I think the most interesting part of the reading was when Shantanu
married a woman who ends up drowning her babies. After that, Shantanu falls in
love with another woman who ends up being a fisherwoman. It was definitely a crazy reading and I’m ready to
find out what else happens with the rest of our readings in Narayan’s Mahabharata.
