With reading the second part of this week I thought it was
sad whenever it spoke of Dasaratha’s death. Kausalya had slept with Dahara on
his last night and held his hand. When the maids had entered his the room her
hand had slipped from his hand. I think
that would be such a sad sight to see. Lying next to someone you love or someone you act like you love and care
for on their very last night, and holding them in your arms until their very
last breath. It sort of sounds like the
Titanic when Rose lets Jack go because she couldn't hold onto his hand any longer because she was too cold. However, in the Ramayana everyone was sad and mourning because of Dasaratha's death.
