So far I have really enjoyed Buck’s version of the Ramayana.
I really enjoyed learning about Kusa and Lava.
It was said in Buck’s version that they ended up resembling their father
Rama. It was also said in the story
that, “ All of the hermit women loved them.” So, with that being said it seems
like they were pretty good looking and they had women after them. However, even though Rama had watched them
often it is so sad that he never knew that that were his children. I could not
imagine being a Father and see my children everyday and not know they were minE.
I think that would be truly heartbreaking.
