I decided to finish reading Buck’s Ramayana because I have
enjoyed it thus far and wanted to finish it since I had started it. This week I
have started reading Buck’s version of Hanuman finding Sita. Hanuman definitely has an adventure when he
gets swallowed by a demon and then ends up escaping by crushing the demons
heart. Talk about a heart breaker!
Eventually in the story Ravana captures Hanuman and he sets his tail on
fire! However, that wasn’t a smart move because once that happened he flew away
and set Lanka on fire!
