I have one older brother who is in his fourth year of residency at OU. I wouldn't be where I am today without my family. They are my support system and who I turn to in times of need. Jesus Christ is also a huge part of my life. I am very thankful that my family brought me up teaching me about Jesus.
I also have two yorkie puppies who I adore Brooklyn and Bratton! I love them. They really are such a joy to be around. Anyone who has dogs or any kind of pet knows that their presence give a sense of joy and love. That is very true with Brooklyn and Bratton I don't know what I would do without them. They are my fur babies!
As of now work at a Chiropractors office as an office assistant but really do not know where I would like to work whenever I graduate. This semester is going to be a lot of work working full time, having to do forty hours of volunteer work, and being a full tim student but I am ready to get it over with and ready to get it all done to where I can step out into the real world. I am excited to graduate and ready to see where the next chapter of my life takes me!

Hi Kelsey! Yay for being a senior; I am also a senior so I feel the same excitement at you in graduating and going out into the real world. Also, so glad you transferred to the better school in Oklahoma (Boomer!), and I'm glad you are having a great time here! Your Yorkie puppies are so adorable--I also really love their names and the bows on them in the picture :) Good luck with your busy semester, but I'm sure it will go great!
ReplyDeleteHi Kelsey,
ReplyDeleteFirst, I really liked the design of your page. I am glad you made the right choice to be here at OU. I have a little sister that goes to OSU, but unfortunately I couldn’t convince her to come here. Your puppies look cute with bows on! Good luck managing your time with everything you do. It’s definitely not easy.
Oh, what an adorable picture of your dogs, Kelsey! It looks like they know they are posing for the camera and need to look extra-cute, ha ha. I hope you will find the Indian epics a good experience in learning about the different religious traditions of the world! The idea of the "avatar," the god who "comes down" (which is what "avatar" means literally) to be on the earth and to save it from destruction is an essential part of Hinduism, and the idea of the "bodhisattva" in Hinduism is very similar (more about bodhisattva at Wikipedia)... so maybe that is an idea you can look at for your Storybook project in this class, seeing in what ways that is like/unlike the Christian idea of the incarnation!
ReplyDeleteHey Kelsey! Congrats on being a senior, and almost being done! I think it is such a great feeling knowing that you are almost done, and that all of your work will have been worth it! I think it’s awesome that you are working full time and taking a semester of college, I admire that! I am a psychology major, but I plan to work in the field of human relations, I think it is a fantastic area of study. Your dogs are adorable!! I have a morkie poo, and I love her very much! I agree that dogs bring so much joy into our lives. It was very nice to meet you, and I hope you have a fabulous semester!
ReplyDeleteHi Kelsey, I'm Amber and I am also a Senior at OU. Thank goodness you switched from OSU (although my dad would kick my butt for saying that, I think he really wanted me to go to his alma mater!). I know what you mean about dogs being a source of joy in life, though my Lily has her moments of pest-i-ness as well you can be sure! Hope to read some of your stuff this semester, good luck!
ReplyDeleteHi Kelsey! It’s so nice to get to know a little about you. I'm glad you made the right decision to go to THE university in Oklahoma. Congrats on becoming a senior. I can only imagine just how nice it is to finally be in the last leg of the race. Your puppies are absolutely adorable! I bet they are a bunch of fun to have around. I know just how hard it can be to manage all of your obligations, but you can do it! Good luck with your semester!
ReplyDeleteHi Kelsey! I'm Nidhi and I am also a senior at OU! Your dogs are adorable and I love their names!! I have never owned any pets but your Brooklyn and Bratton look like they would be a great company! Also, I love the background template of your blog and the way the labels and weather are arranged. Good luck with everything this semester!
ReplyDeleteHi Kelsey! Your puppies are adorable! I’ve never had a Yorkie but a lot of my friends have some and they are super sweet loving pups! Congratulations on graduating this semester! You actually look somewhat familiar to me, I wonder if we’ve had some general education classes together. I also transferred to OU so yay us for choosing a great school… Better late than never right?
ReplyDeleteHi, Kelsey! I definitely agree with what you said about the joy of having dogs. Yours are so cute! I have two dogs, a spaniel mix and a golden retriever, and playing with them is my very favorite thing. It must be so exciting being so close to graduating! I hope you have a great final semester, and good luck in the future!
ReplyDeleteHi Kelsey! Congrats on being in your final semester of school! I think its exciting and kind of terrifying at the same time when you're about to graduate. Your doggies are super cute! I don't have any pets, but I do have two young kiddos who are constantly wreaking havoc in my living room. Pretty close right? Just kidding. My daughter's name is Brooklyn though :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your studies and I hope you find a place to work after graduation that will bring you happiness and allow you to enjoy what you do every day!
Hi Kelsey, wow it seems like you are really busy this semester, and I do not envy you. I don’t know how you are doing it this semester. Hopefully, you aren’t too stressed out by this time. I hope you don’t mind me saying this, but you look so much like your mom. I know some people hate when people say that, but hopefully you won’t. Well, good luck this semester.
ReplyDeleteHey Kelsey!
ReplyDeleteI am glad to see that you decided to come to the better of the Oklahoma schools! I understand exactly what you mean about being busy! It seems like between work and school that I never really have any free time during the semester! It is always great to meet a fellow dog lover! I have always had labs growing up! When I graduate I hope to get another lab, and teach it to be a hunting dog!
Hey Kelsey! You definitely picked the better school in Oklahoma, Boomer Sooner! I think family is important to have in life because they’re the best support system that a person can have. Your dogs are pretty cool looking! I wouldn’t mind having a dog but I feel like it’s a lot of work right now. Congrats on graduating soon and good luck with everything!
ReplyDeleteHi Kelsey! First I want to say that your dogs are really cute!! Ive always wanted a Yorkie before. Some of my friends have them and they are extremely adorable! You seem like a busy student, I think that is how it is for most seniors. I am a senior too and working in a law office and not quite sure where to go from there after graduation. I'm taking a year off until I go to grad school but finding a job is really hard... well a good paying job but there are so much exciting things to learn in the real world! I'm so ready as well. I wish you the best of luck!
ReplyDeleteHey Kelsey! I really like your major. I always love hearing others majors especially on here because its not the same old pre-med majors that I'm always surrounded by. Its also cool that your brother is in his fourth year of residency, something I hope myself to achieve eventually in the future. Also, your dogs are absolutely precious! Everyone who posts a picture of their dogs on here have the most cute dogs. Anyways, I hope your senior year goes well and wish you the best!
ReplyDeleteHey Kelsey! First thing, your fur babies are TOO adorable! I have always wanted to have a yorkie one day, along with an english bulldog, but I'll have to wait a little while on that one. Haha. Congrats on finishing up college this semester! I hope you aren't in the midsemester funk that I am currently in. I think that it is aweseome that you have such a great family support system, and that you always find comfort in your faith! Good luck on all your future endeavors!
ReplyDeleteKelsey, very nice introduction. I definitely think your decision to transfer was a good one. Senior year is quite an interesting one as we cannot wait to get done with school but at the same time we are forced to transition quickly to our next step. Although for me that will be three more years of school, it is still exciting. I like that you do not know exactly what you want to do when you graduate. I think the best way to find what you enjoy is to try different things and see where your career takes you. I know many people who have been very successful and very happy by doing that.
ReplyDeleteHi Kelsey,
ReplyDeleteI, too, rely heavily on my family AND am a firm believer in Jesus Christ! Oh, and my family also has yorkies! Have the last four years just flown by for you? I know that they have for me. So you have a brother who is studying at the OUHSC? I’ll be studying at the OUHSC beginning this summer!
Hi Kelsey!
ReplyDeleteYour dogs are so cute! I have a Boston terrier in which is the love of my life. Unfortunately, she is home in Colorado, so I only see her on breaks. Sounds like you are super busy! Hopefully the semester has treated you well and you are about a month away from graduating! Nice to meet you and can’t wait to dive into your blog.
Hello Kelsey!
ReplyDeleteI noticed I hadn't seen your introduction yet, so I decided to comment on it and your storytelling post for this week. It's nice to "meet" you.
I am so attached to my family as well; I could not live anywhere without them for too long lol. I've been here for four years with my parents and grandparents still in Texas, and my parents are finally moving up here in a few months! I'm so excited!
I love animals too; my pets complete me! They're definitely part of the family <3
Sounds like you've had a super busy semester, but it will all surely pay off! Good luck with finals and post-graduation endeavors!
Hey Kelsey,
ReplyDeleteIt is crazy to think that we only have two weeks left until finals and I am just getting paired up with you now! I am a senior here too! That is so awesome that you decided to transfer to OU. I can say, without a doubt, that coming here was the best decision I ever made. Anyway, good luck ending the semester!
